Why Are Blacks So Touchy About Voter Suppression?

This sick practice was happening in my lifetime, but whites today insist - and I do mean insist - that, like slavery and all of America's other racial ills, it was ancient history. It's a fiction they need for some odd reason.

Considering how desperate they are for it to be true, we blacks can't help but to wonder why.
