Chained - To Humanity's Only Serious Cultural Anchor


If you 've ever wondered how 256 years of slavery became one chapter in school text books
"The unfortunate people to which I belonged, were both sentimental and callous. It was not interested in being shaken by events and any know-thyself."
That was the writer, Stephan Hermlin, on how Adolf Hitler changed European morality. But it also explains white America, too - in relation to this country's treatment of blacks - because this same behavior (along with a daily dose of snideness and ridicule) is what they show us, about themselves. Neither introspection, nor any sign of human kindness, shall bind them. 

 It's hard to believe in anything surrounded by such "people"...
